Healthy Cooking the Mediterranean Way (Boulder)

Mediterranean Diet Classes through the City of Boulder

Interested in healthier meals and a healthier weight?  The Mediterranean Diet offers a solid, easy-to-follow blueprint.  In this hands-on class, we'll learn about this commonsense eating approach and then put that knowledge to work making and tasting delightfully delicious Mediterranean meals.  . 

Join us to make and taste 10 dishes or more, and discover how wholesome food is also delightfully delicious food.  Plus, discover how good cooks make good-for-you meals happen not just once in a while, but every day!  Whether you're cooking for one or a family, a beginner or expert, enjoy * new recipes * new ingredients * new flavors * vegetable-rich dishes * seasonal cooking secrets * cooking inspiration *good company and conversation.

Recipes are gluten- and dairy-free (or optional); vegetarian option generally possible with advance notice

Dates  5 Tuesdays, September 17 to October 15

Time  5:30 to 7:30 pm

Location  East Boulder Recreation Center Kitchen  

Fee  City of Boulder Resident $150 /Non-Resident $188 + $20 materials fee ~  includes light tasting dinner

Sauces, Sweet Potatoes and a Winter Salad

Ready to see how everyday meal making can be engaging and enjoyable?  Join us for a delicious sweet potato afternoon. We'll experiment with different varieties and four different rubs and sauces. You'll go home with new flavors and ideas to perk up your winter meals.  In addition to sweet potatoes, we'll make a winter salad for some complimentary crunch.  Bring a friend and make new friends as we cook and learn together in this hands-on class.
